Bat Sheva Pomerantz, daughter of Sally and Henry Hashkes Z"L recently published a book in Hebrew dedicated to her parents and celebrating the Yovel in Israel of the author as a child.
Beth Hashkes made Aliyah from Far Rockaway, NY. The significance of the move was lost on her.
The book describes her difficult klita journey, with articles on olim and Jewish communities.
